District 9 covers much of southeast Kansas, including communities across Marion, Chase, Butler, Greenwood, Elk, Chautauqua, Coffey, Anderson, Linn, Woodson, Allen, Bourbon, Wilson, Neosho, Crawford, Montgomery, Labette, and Cherokee counties.. The district encompasses communities large and small, from growing regional centers to rural farming towns, all connected by a shared commitment to strong public schools and vibrant local communities.
