Heather’s campaign is rooted in her experience as a parent, community member, and advocate for Kansas students. She believes education should be about helping children learn, grow, and succeed; not about partisan labels. There is no Republican education or Democratic education. There is only good education, and Heather is committed to doing what is best for Kansas students. Heather is running because she wants schools that support students, respect families, and prepare every child for their future.

Every child deserves access to an excellent education, regardless of where they live or their family’s income. Heather believes strong schools create stronger communities and is committed to ensuring every Kansas student has the opportunity to reach their full potential.

Rural schools are the heart of many Kansas communities. Heather will advocate for practices that recognize the unique challenges facing rural districts and ensure students in every corner of the state have access to quality educational opportunities.

Great schools begin with great teachers. Heather believes educators deserve respect, support, and a seat at the table. She will work to reduce unnecessary burdens on teachers and help create an environment where they can focus on what they do best…teaching students.
